I have an ever-growing 1970s-80s CCN playlist on Spotify. Everyone knows and loves the “big names” like Larry Norman and Love Song. I just wanted to mention some lesser known artists who hold up really well:
John Michael Talbot, Gentle Faith, Noel Paul Stookey, Bob Bennett, James Vincent, Adrian Snell.
Are their artists you still enjoy listening to that I may have missed?
I’m doing the 2019 Book of Common Prayer, mornings and/or evenings depending on the day. I substitute the Bible readings in the prayer book with the Bible readings assigned according to the M’Cheyene plan, because I want to read through as many translations of the Bible each year as I can before I pass (I’m currently on the ESV).
The prayer book has helped my prayer life, although I still aren’t one to be constantly in prayer. I was looking for some kind of structure in my prayer life, since the models I learned from the charismatic, faith and evangelical movements weren’t working for me.

Terry,
Have you heard Duane’s work with The Project?

Terry,
I really enjoy John Michael Talbot. I also like listening to Kelly Willard and Wendy and Mary, to name a few.
