We Need Your Help To Free Saeed
Last year Iran pardoned over 1000 prisoners ahead of the Iranian New Year celebration.
This year we are going to petition the Iranian government to release at least one more… Saeed Abedini.
Along with our friends at Voices for Pastor Saeed Abedini we are calling for another social media blitz on Wednesday, March 19 just prior to the New Year.
Pastors: Please let your people know about this event tomorrow!
Friends and media partners: Let’s start talking about this event now!
Be watching here and at our Free Saeed Facebook page for further information.
Thank you Michael I would have taken it to Open Blogging … good to start this here.
If you have a blog or website feel free to copy this article in it’s entirety for your own site.
Let’s get some momentum going!
Yes..and by all means…mention this in your churches tomorrow. This is not a “self-proclaimed” important week by bloggers, but truly a unique opportunity within Iran based on their customs.
I wrote on my facebook that the concept of “saving face” is crucial to understand for the Middle Eastern Muslim – especially in dealing with the “infidels” of the West.
This is a great opportunity for them to do the right thing, make America and the rest of the world happy, while making it look like it is 100% their idea.
Steve,
It’s hugely important that people understand that…we have to get that word out.
Copying to mine.
I saw where BD said something about changing profile pic to yellow. I couldn’t find one, so I just shopped one of the regular ones yellow.
Hi My name is Tracy Ramirez and I started a FREE ribbon campaign through my church in support of Saeed. The ribbons say, “Praying for Freedom-Pastor Saeed.” They are made from thick caution tape and can be attached to cars, mailboxes etc. I made them to remind me to pray every day, and now I am sending them throughout the United States. There is NO COST even for shipping. 🙂
If you would like to see them please see my facebook page (Tracy Boucier Ramirez) and message me if you are interested. I have already posted my yellow out! Thank you for caring about Saeed and the many others suffering persecution.
Tracy,
That’s a great idea…thank you!
