A Mid Week Word
“Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.”
(Hebrews 10:19–23 ESV)
Hold on, keep hoping, He’s faithful.
We have a prayer thread available if you need help with any of the above.
Thank you for encouraging us.
So thankful for His sweet promises. Where would we be without Jesus?
so much to ponder … confidently entering holy places? a living way through the curtain? God’s house?
Oh Lord, make this my reality, not just my theology … because, Lord, my flesh and blood, here and now is feeble minded and easily distracted – there’s so much distraction around me
i want to love this truth, not ‘like’ it – need to ponder
It’s the “true heart in full assurance of faith” that always messed me up. Lord I believe, help my unbelief.
Amen Michael and others. covered, I’m with you on that one. Fortunately (and it must be the Grace of God) my doubt is greater in “No God” than my doubt in “God”. There is something innately present and somehow He seems to work in good and bad. I just can’t shake it. I just can’t give up hope….and believe me, I’ve tried. I figure if God is real, then He wants us to be honest with Him, in everything, even our doubts. If He is truly omniscient, then it’s not like we can hide them anyway 🙂
He who promised is faithful!
Amen
“Hold on. Keep hoping. God is Faithful” Amen…… this is our only true Hope…and an opportunity to daily, moment by moment exercise our faith…. God is Faithful. This world is not our home and eternity is real. Stuff happens, but God is Faithful.
Bless you friends!
Hacking Phoenix Preacher … This is a test.
Well not really hacking, strictly speaking … if the host’s intent was for there to be no traffic, we should honor that.
