Jack Hibbs Lies Again to Enflame the Masses

When does the inanity end?

Hbbs tells a big lie…says that an unnamed bible producing company was bought by Muslims.

Didn’t happen.

Then he tells people to get Bibles because those Muslims are going to compromise Bible content.

It’s all bs…but his crowd thrives off bs like poop beetles…

We’re wittnessing the birth of an urban legend. Time will tell how much life it has to it.

It’s disappointing, though, that despite the fact he didn’t name the family nor the publisher nor cite ANY sources, that hundreds of thousands of people at least accepted the attestation.

I read a Guardian article last week that said that there is a group of legislators in Texas trying to ban hijabs, sales of halel foods, and ban sharia law. It’s so unconstitutional that it will never make it through the Supreme Court, but the’re going there anyway. Scary!

Hibbs has just gotten more fringe (and cringe) over time.

I’m thankful that Hibbs’ claims can be easily refuted.

Share your celebrity pastor lying stories. It is a common problem and a sign of the times.
So is the publishing and sale of their own study Bible version and even their own translation or paraphrase from a paraphrase.
The late John MacArthur said that God told Cain to bring an animal sacrifice. Funny (or not so funny) that even the LSB his own version doesn’t say that.
When a celebrity pastor puts their own notes alongside the text the not so bright buy them. It gives the impression that the notes have more weight that way.
There’s propaganda stating how the Bible was influenced by men and changed through the years but it is easy to see through that by just studying and comparing the progress it took to arrive where we are today.
To ascribe changes to Muslim influence is a new one. It’s usually the other way around.
    Did God really say……?

My guess is he had a good point to make: Get offline and spend more time with a physical Bible, “you’ll land just fine”. But that wasn’t sexy enough, he had to jazz things up a bit, so he threw in the part about the Muslim purchase. It’s a win-win because it builds on all the xenophobia he’s been teaching for decades. Plus, maybe he has Joel Richardson coming next week to teach from his Islamic Antichrist books.

Jack Hibbs is one whose obituary I will read with great pleasure.
