    Beautiful prayer.

What comfort to know that we speak, we cry, we praise….. and because He is gracious, merciful, and loving…He listens, He cares.

London, asked me to post this since she can’t access PxP from work.

If you pray, please lift up a family at an
ABQ hospital who are waiting for the birth, and according to the docs, impending death of their baby tonight.
I don’t know them, but we provided school supplies to the other kids. For some reason, they reached out to me, a stranger, while they wait which makes me think they don’t have on site support.
Prayers appreciated to say the right things to bring them comfort today too.

She also said they will be inducing labor at 7:30 this evening.

  13. Em says:

praying as i read, God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, please use this thread running to Your Throne thru London’s hands to this unknown family

Some folks from BDs church went over.
The dad Text me earlier and said they had all “prayed together and now we feel better”
Waiting to hear word on mom and baby.

Some of you Calvary and former Calvary folks might know Pastor Dave Morrow from his music over the years.

He was diagnosed last week with Parkinson’s Disease. He went public for prayer with the church on Sunday, and on his facebook today so I am sharing this request now.

    Thank you.

  17. jlo says:

I Don’t know Dave, but he has my prayers.

  18. London,
Continuing to pray & think of ya

  19. Well, its decision time for me….I have several offers and while I’m taking the FB poll I didn’t think it would hurt to ask for some prayers from my PxP family…..plus it looks like whatever I choose I’ll be going home alone……..I guess the old adage be careful what you wish for came true in my case so please pray for me.

    Thanks,

    Phil

  22. Paul A. Lytton says:

I sense an honest involvement of people here assisting others in need of prayer help. I have a particular prayer I cannot seem to say enough times in order to feel it is sufficiently said and request you all to help me in it. I am sincere in this; help me in saying this prayer:

1.) Thank You God – for providing me daily with food, water, air, shelter, transportation, clothing, eyesight, hearing, the ability to endure the amount of pain I have; and not being overly abundant in debt. All of which, I am not worthy to receive from you and I certainly do not deserve it.

2.) Praise You God – Not because you give me the things that I am thankful for, but merely because you deserve to be praised eternally.

    EM says … 🙂
okay, although i know G would express similar sentiments, i guess the rocking chair has to go as it does look like G’s trademark … sorry for confusing Phil at a time of stress –

  24. Em says:

praying with you, Paul … remembering that, while we are not worthy (amen) God IS worthy and His blessings to us just prove Him – He is merciful and gracious and so much more, eh? – praise Him, indeed

  25. Em,

That was you incognito? No worries….I’m off to house sit for four hours at a nice little station in the midwest…… Nebraska football here I come…

  26. “often imitated never duplicated”

Just an update from the east coast struggles after hurricane Sandy … still a tons of needs but a lot of clean up has been done … & an amazing amount of volunteerism is still in full swing … really awesome to see in so many places. That said … especially up north the needs are overwhelming in a lot of areas … heartbreaking. The holidays are coming & the reality is that many will not be able to be in their homes or their homes are a mess … without heat etc … can’t imagine how hard. Please continue to pray … thanks
