Love this prayer… been telling God how grateful I am for His blessings all day.

I need prayer. I admit that my heart is going black.

The minute I ranted on Facebook about the Chuck idolatry, I knew people were going to come out of the woodwork. They did. People I called parents, brothers and sisters, they all called down the thunder on me. I knew it was self sabotage. I did it anyway.

I hate what the system has done so much, that I would rather be hated by the system, have them turn their backs on me, than help any of them.

Praying for your Reuben, and have sure been there! Thank you for your honesty 🙂

Praying for your Rueben. I think most of us have to learn (often the hard way) that the system is corrupt because people are corrupt (including you and I), but knowing this brings us to the cross, on our knees, crying out for God’s mercy and grace. Then we get up, knowing we are loved and forgiven, and, by God’s grace, extend it to others, as we begin to see that we are all broken people….but we are His. God bless you, my friend.

Reuben…praying for you this morning. Praying for grace and for softening in your heart.

Continued prayers needed for our friends. The word is getting out here, so I’ll clarify a little. A good friend has decided to leave her husband and move in with a woman. She has taken her three children…9, 7 and 3 years old. She has moved in with a lesbian woman 15 years older who is the anti-thesis of everything she has been (vulgar, unkempt house, etc.). This is someone my kids love…we drove by a restuarant on the way home from church yesterday and her van was outside and all the kids shouted “Hey, ____’s at that restaurant!” (obviously, the kids don’t know yet) . The restaurant is owned by the lesbian’s mother, so our friend was there all day with her while the kids were with the husband. Ugh.

There are many reaching out. The husband is doing all he can to allow room for reconciliation. We are praying for wisdom and trying to determine the best way to engage….just completely devastated for these kids. This is a homeschool family, so the kids are isolated. It is a mess.

Lawyers have been consulted. She has shut off communication with most all of us, except one woman, who has surprised me and is really wonderful…and has been through having an affair and knows the cost. Praying her words will hit home.

    So…please pray. Thanks, friends.

Continuing to pray for this situation Sarah. May she come to her senses very soon and realise what she is doing and the many lives she is tearing apart.

  9. Sarah says:

    Thank you, Nonnie…

  10. Oh Sarah, what a mess! Continuing to pray here too.

  11. Reuben, praying for your heart. Bless you, friend.

Our closest friend has lung cancer and has been in the hospital and now a rehab facility for about two weeks. The rehab is because she has no strength but has improved enough to get herself out of bed and take some steps. She is also on oxygen and can’t eat.

This coming Friday she will have to go home as they can’t afford the co-pay insurance will require for her to stay beyond that.

She will have an oncologist visit her day after tomorrow. This will be the first time they will have a cancer doctor see her.

The family was told she also had liver cancer and she had been waiting for a biopsy for some time and now hears she may not need one although she doesn’t know exactly why. It’s been a difficult ordeal for the entire family as Gunilla is experiencing all of this which came out of left field so suddenly. Please pray for Gunilla’s health as well as her husband Robert who has Parkinson’s disease. They have three adult children and it’s been difficult for each of them. Thank you.

Our friend has stage four lung cancer in her liver and lungs. The cancer is too deeply imbedded in her liver to do a biopsy so the oncologist will biopsy her lungs early next week in preparation for chemotherapy. She needs a miracle from God. Please pray.

  14. Hi, I thought you might like to use this on your web site, or for yourself. A free prayer book by Matthew Henry called ‘A Method for Prayer’ 1710 edition, with added devotional prayers, Bible helps and a glossary of 2400 words of the KJV. You can use the audio files for the book if you like.

  15. Nonnie says:

E, praying for your friend. May the Lord embrace her in His peace.
