Podcasts? Cool. What kind of programming did you have in mind?

  2. admin says:

We’ve got an upcoming interview with Ted Haggard…an audio history of the Jesus Movement, and a few other projects we’re working on.

This was not a great time to go down!

  3. Tim says:

Sounds like some really great stuff. I’ll be praying for you, Jacob & the other mods.

    Interview with TED? Fabulous…..

  5. Michael says:

    Pretty wild…huh, Dread 🙂

  6. Babylon's Dread says:

    Jessa Bentley speaks

A very nervous Rick Joyner calls her Shauna

  7. Babylon's Dread says:

She is more forthcoming than anything I have heard so far… she is very open and admits they have done wrong.

It does look like the leaders could have investigated a little bit and found out something. In trying to prove that Todd and Jessa did not have an affair during the revival they have made it plain that the divorce from Shauna was underway and could have been discovered had the leaders just done diligence.

    Whatever… it is a mess

At least they are finally facing it.

  8. Babylon's Dread says:

Todd finally reveals some emotional pain during this interview… somehow I find that helpful

  9. Michael says:

She is a very smart young lady…

  10. London says:

Not too smart if she’s sleeping with him! 😉

  11. Sister Christian says:

Did you really say that? Perhaps because she admitted she was deceived?

BBD~ that display of emotional pain, if not a performance, is only the beginning of the pain and sorrows to come for that man and his second wife and the broken family he has destroyed by his own admission.

  12. Psalm62 says:

what SC just said – amen

  13. Psalm62 says:

It seems clearer and clearer to me that those who are unable to handle their libido, for whatever reason (and some may be legitimate – weaknesses or circumstances out of their control) do not belong in leadership positions in the Body. Someone who has messed up in this area can contribute much in the way of a broken, contrite heart serving the Lord – but not up front, not leading the flock IMO

just doesn’t feel right – but feelings don’t last., facts do to coin a phrase… so dunno

  14. Sister Christian says:

Im so sorry I watched that interview,
made me sick to my stomach
    He seperated from his wife,
    filed divorce papers,
and marries the baby sitter not shortly thereafter.

while they say they are not justifying it,
they glorify it by using david and bathsheebas example.

heres the problem I have with all of this,

Men who have decided they dont want their wives anymore,
can simply passively aggressively vex their wives privately in spirit and emotions,
to the point where she is so frazzled and fed up she wants nothing to do with the man and he cries foul on her part cause shes turned into such a “B” and no one blames him because hes so charming and such a nice man in public and shouldnt have to put up with such a shrew…
when the wife seperates from his foul and vexing behaviour whatever form that takes in private, to the unknowing public eye)
Gives him the open door to pursue a new realationship and marry.
instead of being corrected to be a truly godly man and care for his wofe with understanding and love her in a Godly way.
However he is instead is eventually praised for finding Ms wonderful, Ms right, Ms perfect and leaving the shrew behind.

    This is a horrific deception,
and it paves a deadly example of a path for others to follow

funny how he and the second ms are being so readily accepted now.

lessons on how to ditch your first wife and still be accepted in the church
still return to ministry fleecing the flock and leading people astray

    God hates divorce.
Do you think he really looks kindly upon those who purposefully orchestrate it?

To those who have been victims of divorce,
God surely pours out His grace and mercy and care to them.
Though offenses must come, woe to those who cause the offense.

  15. Sister Christian says:

    that was to say
he married one of the baby sitters of their children
    not TOO shortly thereafter…YUCK!!!

thanks and Amen to what you said in your 1:42 post as well!

  16. dansk says:

    God hates divorce.

  17. Babylon's Dread says:

Ok I admit it… I was trying to be nice…BUT

Todd Bentley does not belong in Christian ministry. Rick Joyner is not being honest with himself about this matter. They try to portrait this as a response to comforting Todd in his grief. Perhaps some truth is in it…but the thing that has been done here is a denial of the Gospel. Not the sexual sin which is certainly contrary to Christ, but the refusal to devote himself to his family….

Anyway…I do not think Todd should be restored.

There is a difference between Tb and TH, one is trying to get back into the church, the other is moving up in the corporation. I fault neither for them trying. Well actually I do but its Tuesday so I have to be the romantic cynic and wounded soldier while I sit on the sidelines and pick my wounds. I really need to stop doing that. Its a bad habit, very human but very counter productive.

  19. brian says:

But the video streaming and clarity is rather good. Maybe they can stream something good, I recommend the Jesus Video.

  20. Michael says:

Intelligence does not necessarily mean moral.

    I sensed a certain desperation…which I find delicious. 🙂

I was wondering why they use David and Bathsheba instead of Ananias and Sapphira….

  21. Sister Christian says:

okay,,, yes, smart would’t exactly mean wise.
but you got me on the desperation – delicious part. 😕
so would smart-devious fit more in this case?

  22. Sister Christian says:

    Your 6:44 is very appreciated.
